Who is Manu and how Manu is related to Man.

As per "Brugu Samhita", first Manu created six more Manu's; These seven Manus created each seven Manu's more. So total 7*7=49 Manu's. Goutama Buddha meditated for 49 days under Bodhi Vruksha! As per Budhist concept, each man attain Moksha only after 49 births. This 49 births indicated seven types of life forms and seven births in each form.Hindu scriptures says, Men are born in seven parts of this earth at a time.

Babylonia, Egypt, Greeks and Caldia granthas talking about seven human groups. This shows our seven Manu's are real and the same seven Manus are known to world's oldest civilizations. The word "Manu" indicated - thought!. This thought is nothing but Gods will. So each Manu is the creator and controller of His( Manu) Manwantara. Each Manwantara starts with a Bijamanu and ednds with Moolamanu. Bijamanu is the cause and Moolamanu is the controller. So total 14 Manu's are there.

So, one Manwantara is the distance between two Manu's. For a planet, one Manwantara is the period of evolution of seven root jivas or Moola Varga's. So atma completes his seven births. Each Atma has to go through seven Gola's or planets. Seven births in seven Gola's means 49 births, or one "Maha Manwantara".We have discussed about each Manu's creating seven Manu's each. Manu's evolution continues through seven Golas. So he continues his journey of evolution or Completing his life circle to moksha by 49 roots of life. Each root creates a Manu. 

Krishna says in Gita, " Maharshaya: saptha poorve chatwaaro manavastatha". This indicates that we are living in fourth Manu's time!. In this day of Brahma, or Kalpa, ruled by Vyvaswata. One Kalpa or day of Brahma consists of 1000 Mahayuga's. So one Manwantaram is equal to 71*3/7 Mahayugas. Each Manwantara has 71 each Satya Yugas, Thretha Yugas, Dwapara Yugas and Kali Yugas. Ours is 28 th Kali Yuga. In order to complete our Manwantara, we have to go through 41 Kali Yugas.
Next night of Brahma will rule "Savarni" Vyvaswata Manu is the cause and Savarni is the seed to the next Manwantara.
