After the era of Swami Vivekananda, Hindus in Asia and other part of the world are seriously approaching and celebrating " Hinduism". Many societies and tribes now believes and following Hinduism as their religion.
It was Vivekananda 1880 to 1902 AD, authoritatively stated and approached all sects and Kings for the support and asked for change of attitude on various aspects on Hinduism. He changed the face of this ancient cultural entity to an authoritative religion for the first time.
Before Vivekananda, Hindus lived with local Idol and a monthly offering and a visit to their Gods. If a cow delivered a Calf, the family will offer Some eatables to their God!. Their farm employees will get a major role in this ritual.
There are Gods and riverside Gods.These Gods are happy with their annual Vrutha's and visits. Most Gods and Goddesses belongs to each casts and each God's may known for their fight against anti-social elements and other kind of
unification of society.
Beyond all these things they have their King and their supreme God power at Kasi. They are aware of the the power of God is everywhere and each things in the world is the manifestation of that power. But the cast and the King factor controlled them over it for thousands of years. The successor of their Kingdom may change their ultimate Shakthi( Power) from Vishnu to Siva or Kali or likwise. Then the citizens of that area too have to change their "Sankalpa"( Power) too unwillingly. Sometimes their King may be defeated by neighboring one with a different path.
In each transition of power, a new giant Temple or a Temple complex will emerge. That region will worship that path for hundreds of years, till another Kings raise. But the concept of remains unchanged. Each region accepted the " Three power of the universe as "Brahma-Vishnu-Siva".
It was Sankara 760 AD, made the first attempt to bring these groups under " Trimurthy" Sankalpa( Three power Concept). As per Trimurty concept Brahma-Vishnu-Siva are the same power of God with different properties. Brahma for production( Birth), Vishnu for growth and progress ( Sthithi) and Siva for death and decay or recycling of elements to mother earth. Sankara populated the theory of all God concepts in Indian sub-continent are related or part of any one of these "Supreme God". He practically established his concept and converted all local Idols with the Shakti( Power) of any of these Trimurtis.
But as a natural phenomena, all Gods and temple are controlled by a local leaders. Persons like these local controllers continued to pore their own versions of ---ologies under their area. This problem continued till Vivekananda. Sankara's effort reached its purpose half the way only. Local powers and Jamins took the control of the temple and religion. This practice stopped Sankara's effort to unify the society and Indian sub-Continent maintained the my Matham and My Daivam methode- with "Trimurty" tradition.
This practice maintained for about 1000 years. They worshiped their God with "Trimurty" power. No Common name used for the society. Each society continued in the name of their "Raja". Each Raja's used the same method of cheating, He is living for protecting His praja's God. So He is the protector of their God, So praja's should obey Him unconditionally.
Above impressions gives us that for thousands of years the South East Asia lived without a Religion. Particularly last 2000 years this society didn't valued even Humanity. All in the name of Gods and all Kalpana's( orders ) from the protector of God, the king. Up to Asoka Maurya and Chandra Gupta dynasties, the king himself is a seeker of the Truth and they ruled with some values. After Maurya dynasty fallen, the lawlessness and corruption emerged and money-muscle power became king and Gods. This lasted for about 7-8 centuries, till Sankara's entry.
What happened in Maurya Gupta dynasties decline and what did Sankara is very interesting and it leads us to the basic failures of Hinduism. We know that Asoka's attachment with Buddha and He encouraged Buddhism. It was Asoka introduced hospitals for animals in India. Then how Asoka and Buddhism became the enemy of Hinduism? He traveled and captured Afgan on north to Sri Lanka in south. Iran on west to Indonesia in east. Is this wrong for Hinduism? Even pure Hindu Chandra Guptan did the same? How does Asoka wrong? After Asoka, His Son suffered huge set back in his rule by the Brahmin lobby. Brahmins attacked good leaders, Senior officers, Military chiefs and even Buddha Sanyasins by demoralizing their integrity. Brahmin lobby charged them with corruption, immoral relations with women. They put most good leaders in prison and thus the administration collapsed. This causes the end of not only Buddha era in India, total restlessness for about 1000 years. Brahims took control of the power and they appointed Raja's in their area. Brahmins enjoyed the fruits of power and engaged in war with our own Raja's and people.
There is complaint from Today's Hindu leaders that if we are engaged in developing the borders and converting others to our faith, our path will spoil!. Is our thoughts are so weak? We are keeping a slogan- " we are the only race, never attacked any country and not indulged in conversions". Is it true? Then How the Hindu ideology spread up to Indonesia? How Mohammed confronted with Bhoja Raja and talked with Him at Mecca Siva Temple in the dessert?. Bhoja Raja re-opened the Mecca Siva Temple with lamps and let the population continue for their Idol worship!.
Attacking, Capturing and conversions are the process of convenience and progress. This has the approval of the theory of evolution!.
As per our books, Macca is a Siva linga and why Hindus are not asking the Macca Silvalayam back. Hindus are fighting for Ram Janma Gruha, at Ayoshya for last 400 years! Is fighting without any progress is a Hindus slogan?, Just like communist are keeping poverty for gathering more hands in voting and meetings, Hindus are keeping something to fight?.
The basic problem is , If you find a Hindu , He was taught that he is Hindu. Actually he knows that he is something else. In a circumstance some invaders called this population because the remember the struggle to cross the Sindhu river and after crossing they got a warm welcome with feast. Their hangover made them to call us Hindoooos!. Similarly they named Mumbai as Bombay and Kolkata as Calcutta. If We can change our city name, why are we still proud in the name of a Pakistani river? Or that river has gave us any punya like Ganga gives? Even Ganga didn't made any change in South Indians life! Ganga and Hindi are equal for south Indian Hindu.
So the problem is we have no common background or common philosophy. Yes we have lot of variety's of thinking and we are free to select my way. If I am selecting my way, I am loosing a common platform and getting away from the main stream. So practically all are following their own path and all are not synced with main stream. Here mainstream is practically absent.
Vivekananda took a best effort to make a Mainstream. He practically told us it will take hundreds of years to sync the entire population with a mainstream that does not exist. He indirectly attacked the sects and casts of Hindus to keep away all the Idols of God for fifty years and concentrate on personal stamina. Because he want Man with capacity to work hard to built the mainstream!, The Idol of Nationalism or Religious head.He welcomed the idea to eat meat and put all idols away and concentrate on Muscles! What might be his imagination on suspending the Idols away and built Youths with muscle? Because He said the equality and Integral Humanism among the people is absent here. Even if we propagated the siddhanta of Advaita, we failed to apply it on society and always hated other casts and mainly Buddha. He appreciated Islam for their integral humanistic approach on man. He declared" The equal darshana on humanism of Advaita, practically demonstrated by Islam, only by Islam."
As per Sri Ranganathananda, we failed to create the achievement of Mohammed. He lead the Arabian People with a political entity based on religious theory and educated his followers the necessity of establish Islam as a cultural entity.
We are still searching in dark, because after Vivekananda, Gandhiji, Subhash Chandra Bose and Aravinda Ghosh take different routs and The only emerged path by Dr. Hedgevar failed to establish unity among Indigenous people. One example he insisted Hindi as the common language. Like this His thoughts disintegrated Hindus than unity. Here the new generation can think and hope for a change that can change the world better. "Ekam sat viprah bahudhavadanti".
